This is a very good vacuum cleaner with excellent suction watts for the motor, 650 W, 120 W Air I had to use the old DC03, 700 watts to 2002 watts, so with 90 Air, this is an improvment. The DC24 is doing very well on carpet and the suction is strong groom and brush the carpet, it feels better than the DC04. The only thing I do not like about this machine is that the tube is very short, but then you can set the machinestep and use the tube, the machine sits on the step as well. The Combi-Tool is a bit 'of a joke, not very good for the stairs, but it will do until you buy the DC25 scale for this instrument. The cable is very short, so I pull over and have thorns, the DC04 is a very long cable was in relation to the DC24.
